OUR WOOD PELLETS

Our wood pellets are made from 100% natural wood sawdust reduced to uniform size and dehydrated to <10% moisture level. Following moisture control, the pellets are pressed and shaped. The end product is then weighed and sampled for consistency.

Problems Using Biomass Fuel

When Biomass fuel is burned, alkali metals contained in the biomass fuel lowers the melting point of the ash.

Agglomeration: Alkali components vaporized from the fuel adhere to the bottom ash particle to induce bonding between the ash particles
Slagging: In the region where the temperature of the combustion chamber is higher than the melting point of ash, ash particles are discharged along the gas flow in a molten state, then collide against the water pipe wall surface to rapidly cool down and deposit.
Fouling: The alkaline component contained in ash volatilizes during combustion and adheres to the convection heat front surface together with the fly ash.
Unlike coal and other fuels, biomass contain alkali components that are derived from fertilizers.
There alkali components combine with ash to form slagging and fouling within boiler, when the boiler temperature exceed melting points.
Slagging and fouling significantly reduces the heat efficiency in the boiler, and induces not only periodic maintenance but also shutdown of the boiler.

Fuel-Integrated Type Solution

For the convenience of the customers, Blue Ocean Industry developed “Clinker Zero Wood Pellet”, a fuel-integrated clinker preventor that does not require separate additive feeders to the boiler.

By just inserting specially manufactured wood pellet into the boiler, a powerful clinker preventor K-Ment included in Clinker Zero Wood Pellet will protect the boiler surface. Clinker Zero Wood Pellet is not only very effective but also convenient product.
